We are sad our trip is almost over but we've been loving the old route 66 stops. We are in Flagstaff right now but set to leave to view the Grand Canyon and then spend a night in Vegas. Then it's to LA tomorrow and showing Dana around there a bit. We splurged for a hotel last night as we didn't know anyone in the area and wanted to take our time getting around the sights in the area. It was dark when we got here and we were surprised when we got near a streetlight and realized there was snow everywhere! But we REALLY like the old route 66 memorabilia and a lot of the area almost seems untouched in decades...take that as you will! Also we'd like to point out that although we seem to be wearing the same clothes in all the pics... we DO shower and at least change our underwear once in awhile : p
The pics here are from Albuquerque, the Painted Desert (with snow in parts!), the Petrified Forest, and the National Petroglygh monument (the rock pictures).
